Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market
Thursday 3rd November to Saturday 24th December 2022

Frankfurt Christmas Market, the largest festive market outside Germany is an annual fixture in the city of Birmingham. Stalls line New Street and Victoria Square offering traditional festive food, drink and a range of gifts and toys. Pay a visit for a Bratwurst, Weissbeer or hot chocolate, soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the live music.

Skate at Somerset House with Moët & Chandon
16 Nov 2022 – 15 Jan 2023

An enchanting perennial fixture at Somerset House on the banks of the Thames in London. A large ice rink set within the beautiful courtyard with a 40 ft Christmas tree with decorations curated by Moët & Chandon – perfect for Instagram. There’s skate lessons, DJs, gifts, food and drink. And a gourmet popup alpine restaurant.

The Tenby Boxing Day Swim

On Monday 26th December from 11am, the 50th Tenby Boxing Day Swim will see hundreds of participants brave the cold of Pembrokeshire’s picturesque Tenby Harbour to raise money for good causes. After which swimmers can warm themselves by the beach bonfire with hot soup.

12 Days of Christmas at Bamburgh Castle

With stunning coastal views and steeped in history, Bamburgh Castle, home of ghosts, legends, and myths will have its state rooms transformed by theatrical designer Charlotte Loyd Webber into a “spectacular festive extravaganza inspired by The Twelve Days of Christmas”. This Christmas experience is suitable for all ages. And, Father Christmas will be there from 19th November to 23rd December in his special festive grotto.

Hogwarts in the Snow
The Warner Brother’s Studio tour
12th November 2022 – 15th January 2023

The Harry Potter Studio tour is a magical experience any time o year, but for a short period over Christmas, all the sets are covered by a blanket of ‘film making’ snow. Visitors can learn how set dressers transform sets including Diagon Alley, the Forbidden forest and the Hogwarts model.
